SWISS CHEESE AWARD
On the 24. September 2016, our somked Raclette has won the Swiss Cheese Award in the Vallée de Joux in the category Raclette. This is our sixth win in this category and makes us very happy. In the top ten of best Raclette in Switzerland, we are in total with five flavours: Smoked, classic, green pepper, onions and paprica. We are jubilant on this confirmation for the quality and congratulate the other category winners! The prize is awarded every secon year, in 2018, it will be in Lucerne, only 20 Kilometers from our production site.
We do sponsor de Cup of the local “Schwingerverband“, a traditional Swiss sport.
Furthermore, we support the folk cultural festival of the canton Obwalden, that takes place every year.
In autumn 2015, Galileo recorded a documentation about our cheese factory and the “best raclette of the world” (only available in German).
